INGREDIENTS:
3 lb. chicken
1/3 cup butter
2 onions
1 tablespoon curry powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon vinegar
PREPARATION:
To prepare this Chicken Curry Recipe 2, first clean, dress, and cut chicken in pieces for serving. Put butter in a hot frying-pan, add chicken, and cook ten minutes; then add liver and gizzard and cook ten minutes longer. Cut onions in thin slices, and add to chicken with curry powder and salt. This recipe produces a very red, shiny candied apple. You can substitute a drop of cinnamon oil for the candies. After the apples are cooled, you can wrap them in colored plastic wrap and tie shut with curling ribbon. Makes a nice Halloween party treat. – Submitted by Irene Russell

A time-honored Scouting recipe that is easy to make.
Serves 6 to 8 scouts.
2 pounds hamburger
2 cans mixed vegetables (save liquid)

Egg Whites
Here is the way to perfectly whip egg whites. A copper bowl is ideal, because copper reacts with the albumin in egg whites and makes for better foaming.
Wash your bowl with vinegar and kosher salt, then rinse well just before adding the whites. Use a whisk or an electric hand mixer on a low setting until the whites are foamy.
