World of WarCraft (WoW) is an MMORPG -- a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. It was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and is the 4th game in the Warcraft series, not including expansion packs and "Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans" which was cancelled.
