Origin of the Real Game Tennis

It was back in the 12th century when the French used to a play an indoor handball game with bare hands (using the palms) and was called “jeu de paume” which means “game of the palm”. Later Gloves were used to hit the ball, this is how the historians put it… one theory is also that this game was played by the monks in monastery cloisters. The royal king Louis X of France was a keen player of “jeu de paume” and became notable as the first person to construct indoor tennis courts in the modern ........Click here to read more.....
